I'm about to pull the trigger an order a roll of raammat (60 sq ft), 3 yds of ensolite, and some adhesive.
I'm looking to do the four doors (inner and outer) of my full-size suv and possibly (supply permitting) the rear liftgate. I calculated needing about 50 sq ft total.
Goals: Here are my primary objectives
1) Keep my music from being heard outside my car
2) Improve midbass and overall sound quality
3) Reduce panel vibrations
Questions:
1) Do I have enough material to make a substantial difference in accomplishing these goals?
2) Is raammat by best option dollar for dollar?
3) Are there any cheap tricks to help me accomplish these goals without buying more expensive deadener?
Thanks in advance!
