Help with cubic ft. area

so i'm having a little trouble finding how much area a PVC port takes up. It is 8.5" x 18" BassBox 6 Pro tells me .591 cubic feet. is this correct? i could not find a calculator online that came even close to those numbers. any help is appreciated.

if you have bassbox it factors all that in, what does it matter?

I'm confused. Are you talking about how much port area of the tube (h*pi(ID/2)^2)), displacement by the actual tube walls h*pi(OD^2-ID^2), or the full tube including walls and inner volume? (h*pi(OD/2)^2)
