Help with corners of slot port - simple question

I'm making my girlfriend a ported box for christmas. ive made one before and it sounded great even though I made some beginners mistakes...but this time i want to do everything right. so i was wondering if anyone could point me to a tutorial to show me how to cut the wood angled corners that you fill the port corners with so they arent square.

also what are the best kind of screws to use for 3/4 mdf......and is wood glue fine

titebond 2 and 1 5/8" coarse thread drywall screws ftw.

to give you a dimention of the 45 degree piece that needs to be cut, i need to know the width of your port.

oh then you really dont need it to be honest.

Just do 45* cuts with a table saw or circke saw.

And I use 1 5/8" course thread drywall screws, and a lot of glue. EDIT: ^^Beat me to it.^^
