Help with connections

Please pardon my ignorance as this is my very first install of an amp & sub. Going in a C-3 'Vette. (minimal room) I acquired from a friend a Coustic 160 watt/30 RMS

2 ch amp. (20 bucks, thought I couldn't pass it up) I bought an 8" sub 300 watt peak/150 W RMS/4 ohm (only one I could find shallow enough for my mounting location) What I need to know is the proper wiring of the sub to the amp. Deeply appreciate any assistance.

to bridge an amp connect the + on your sub to the + on one of your amplifier channels. then connect the - on your sub to the - on the amplifiers second channel. most amps only run bridged at 4ohms. so to do this your sub has to be an SVC 4ohm sub.
