Hi there, I have a 2000 Toyota Celica and just purchased "Rockford Fosgate Prime R1L-2X10 Double R1 10-Inch Preloaded Enclosure" off of Amazon to put in it.

Amazon.com: Rockford Fosgate Prime R1L-2X10 Double R1 10-Inch Preloaded Enclosure: Car Electronics

I need to purchase an Amp to go with these subs and do not know which one to choose. The amazon page suggests to purchase

Amazon.com: Boss Audio R1100M Mosfet Monoblock Power Amplifier with Remote Subwoofer Level Control: Car Electronics

I am looking to spend $40-120 on an amp, and want to get the most out of my money. Should I purchase that suggested Amp, or should I try to find a different one?

The stereo I am using is:

Pioneer - 50W x 4 MOSFET In-Dash CD Deck

Model: DEH-150MP SKU: 6238551

50 watts maximum power x 4 channels (14 watts RMS)

For now, I am just looking to get an amp for the Subs and do not want to wire the Amp to the stock speakers in the car, so I believe I need a 2-channel Amp.

Suggestions of Good amps for my situation from Amazon, Ebay, or any other known sites would be much appreciated. Also, even just giving me any info on what kind of Amp I should be looking for would be awesome (I am unsure how to choose what kind of RMS, wattage, ohms, or any other specs I need to be looking for).

I have found a few amps that have gotten good reviews, would any of these be what I might need?

After much more research, I think that my subs together need a total of around 225-450 watts RMS at 2 ohms from a one-channel or monoblock amp. Can anyone confirm is this sounds correct? I looked up the subs individually and they are 150 RMS each, and the ones I purchased comes with two of them enclosed for a total of 300 RMS.

Not at all, amplifiers have gain control to attenuate the output to safe levels.

well, thats kind of an open ended question....., you can do 2500rms@1ohm, or you can do a pair of 1k-1200rms@2ohms. just have to know the amp...
