Help with choosing amp

Hey i just got 2 alpine 12" type e subs from a friend and they are in a q logic bandpass box... what do you guys recommend i use for an amp, and should i use 2 mono amps or just a 2 channel amp? thanks for the help

Definitely don't need 2 mono amps. A 2 channell amp will be fine...it only needs like 200 watts per sub.

Impedance of the subs? RMS of the subs? Price range for an amp?

Oh yeah, get a new box.

I think the RMS on the Type E's are 200 watts.

200 watts rms 600 peak 4 ohms oh yea and i can spend around 300 on an amp

Planet Audio REM2400 at thezeb.com is on sale for 199.00. Planet Audio makes some nice equipment. Does 200 x 2 @ 4 ohms.
