Hey sorry for the late reply, i was on vacation .

Thanks for the info though, i think used is definitely the way to go ,, i was doing allot of pricing and $400 dosn't go very far..

And I definitely plan on doing the install myself been doing some reading and there's not all that much to it.

Where do u guys usually shop for equipment online?

i have a DEH-p7700, kicker 4ga. hyperflex wiring kit, TMA t500.1(500rms x1@2ohm), 10" 1.5cuft@32hz box. I will do for $320+shipping.

All you would need is a 10" type R or something similar that will take 500rms @2ohm./

Its possible for that budget but i have to agree with some , save some money and get yourself a nicer set up. I take that concept way out of context i take to **** long lol.

In any case, 600 bucks you can do a simple sweet set up with one 5 channel amp

you can even do a cheap 3 way set up passive

head unit

5 channel amp

and a single sub for 600

There are good deals out there, ebay will be your friend

Hey gents, thought I would post this here instead of starting new thread. I've been using my Wrangler's stock tape deck with an RF Ipod xmitter. I am finally looking to buy a deck and came across some inexpensive decks from Pyle, specifically the Pyle PLD57MU Car DVD Player http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190257007519&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:Watchlink:middle:us I am a complete audio noob and don't know how long I will have my current vehicle but this looked like a good deal. Anybody have any experience with Pyle. Am I better off getting a vanilla deck from a name brand?
