Help With Amp

I am installing a JL 500/1 amp with two JL 10w3v3s in a 2004 ford f150. I have a stock head unit so i had to install a PAC SNI-35 to hook up the rca cables. The problem is whenever i turn on my amp the stereo stops. Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening?

The problem is your explanation is vague. We would love to help you , that is what we do, but you need to be as descriptive as possible. Saying the stereo stops is not enough. Does it lose power? And what do you mean when you say turn on your amp? Do you have a switch to turn it on?
