Help with amp for Kicker L7 15" please

ok i decided on getting one kicker L7 15" (4 ohm i guess?) and going to put it in a ported box...

i think the rms is 1000? so i need an amp to run this thing hard=) budget is around 300$ range. also class D is somthing that is good for alternators or somthing? ( fill me in)

With a $300 price range I would not go to Hifonics...

You can pick up an Orion 1200D, which seems to be very popular around here lately... They are great amplifiers, it will probably put out more than the over-rated Hifonics would, and they are reliable.

As for a box builder, PM Squeak12 , he would be more than willing to help you out.

Fair enough, but reccomending a good product would be better than telling him what exactly worked solely for you, because there is always something better out there.

whats this orion 1200 go for? the hifonics is around 200 i think..

and if you think theres a better 15" sub then the l7 in the same price range that would help too=P
