help with amp choice

I have 4 12 inch jl w3s i wanted to know should i hook em up to 2 hifonics brutus bx1500.d amps or go with a power acoustic amp which i think was a 5500 watts??any suggestion on what i should get to push em??

You'd be better off running the 2 hifonics amps than the power acoustic, and NO it does not make a true 5500 anyway, more like 2-2.5k topps

I personally wouldn't use those amps if I could help it but I honestly would use the pa amp if you can wire to 1 ohm or I would strap the hifonics at 2ohm if that's where the power was needed

I have a kicker kx2500 I can give u a deal on depending on how much u want to spend but if u already have the amps do what I said above, just be careful with the gains that's alot of dirty power going to some low power subs

2k RMS at 1 ohm would be ideal for those; as 2k at 4 ohms will more than likely be very pricey $$$ - I'd go with an AQ 2200 or a Crescendo BC2000D
