I recently installed two (2) 10" hifonics brutus square subs powered by hifonics BXi1606d and wired for 1-ohm load giving roughly 500-600 wrms to each subs (since amps' ratings are usually rated on a 14.4V) on a 2-guage wire, for the seps and coax, I have a generic 4-channel amp delivering 480 watts, delivering juice to 1 set of 6x9 and 1 set of coax. I have a Mitsu Pajero and it's stock alternator is delivering 110 Amp of charge. Yet after about an hour of continuous bass thumping, when I switch off my car and try to fire it after about 1-10 mins, it's having a hard time starting, funny though is that if I leave the car rested for atleast an hour it fires up with ease, it started when I had my car audio installed.
Now I'm thinking: is it with the ground? wires? do I need to change alternator to 150-200 amp? do I need to add a second battery to power the sound system alone? would a farad capacitor help? (although I can't see how since I don't experience dimming with my headlights)
Need help guys.... THANKS!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
