I'm hoping to get more here.
I'm having problem with my speakers. Both my tweeters are having this annoying sound kinda like PSSH PSSH when the bass hits too much?
Only one side which is in the driver side has TOO MUCH bass more than the passenger side. Matter of fact, it hits the door, not the passenger side.
Here are my specs ..
2006 Ford Focus Sedan
Audioque AQ4x90
Alpine SPS-600C in front
Alpine SPS-507 in back
DavidNavone Line-Out Converter 4-Channel
I'm using Knukonceptz Fleks 4ga Amp Kits. Unfortunately, I did not have the 4-channels RCA cables so I'm using the Wal-Mart bought RCA cables.
Could the crappy RCA cables play the factor in my issue?
Remember that the tweeters are using the in-line crossover. I put them on the right side following the wiring diagram provided in Crutchfield (and on the back too).
Exactly what I did was hook up the wires that was already installed for the factory speakers to the new speakers on the doors. And from behind the headunit, I cut the wires and spliced the converter wires to the factory wires connected to the headunit. Then from the speaker wires behind the headunit, I connected the new 16ga wires to the amp. All channels plugs are plugged in right.
I'm not sure if I tune them properly will actually help? But I get too much bass on the driver side than on the passenger side. Also, with too much bass, it hits the door. What I have on the door is the 1/2" MDF spacer for 6.5" speakers to go on the 5x7 opening.
Thanks
