Help With Aero Ports Please

ok ran into another problem guys. **** everything is going not in my favor. haha. ok well an inside and outside port put together is 5 inches long but only 4 inches is usable port and psp's port calc says only like 2 inches for each port or somethin like that. what do i do now?

I think you may have accidentally entered 30cf instead of 3.0cf. I just ran the numbers on it using 2.15cf net (2.5cf internal volume -.15cf for drivers and -.2cf for port displacement) and for 2 x 4" ports @ 36hz the PSP calculator says 22.38" each.

Do you have the box dimensions handy?

wait a sec. the box should be 2.5 net. sorry i said it wrong. 3.0 is net just without any other displacements. so 2.5 net after displacements. but yea the dimensions are

Height- 16

width-61

top depth-6

bottom depth- 9

and doesnt it mean that its 22.38 between the two?

FYI, I've seen the 90 degree elbows at parts express.

I ordered the 3" precision ports from PE when I built my enclosure, not thinking. When they got here, the inside flares where too wide and wouldnt fit inside the box in the only viable spot to port. So, I decided that I had to go with a slot port. Good luck figuring this out.

The only 90's at PE I've seen are made by Dayton. I was told by PE that they aren't compatible with the PSP tubes.

I'm 99% sure that the legnth is for each port. To be sure, I ran the numbers for a single sub. 1.25cf @ 36hz. with one 4" port returned 18.98". Then I used 2.5cf @ 36hz. with two 4" ports and it returned 18.98".

NO, that is the length for EACH port.

Oh my bad, I just saw them listed on the side of the page and figured if they had a 90s, then they would have them for all or most of the ports.
