Help with a trade

Got a guy who wants to trade his eclipse cd7000 for my alpine cda 117 what do you guys think I never used a eclipse deck before

Tell him Ill trade it for you!! This was going to be my next deck.I Strongly believe in Eclipse HU.I still have a cd3000, and works as the day I bought new.Been the best HU I have ever owned to date.I myself think this is one of the best HU out there..Thus,Opinion of course.Id do it...(NIKE)JUST DO IT!!!

I have owned both(all 3 mentioned in this thread actually....)

IMO, the Alpine sounds much better.

FWIW...the cd3000 is still in use today.....I gave it to a friend a year or so ago....

The only problems I had with the Eclipse decks where the faceplate contacts and getting dust behind the lens somehow...
