Well my brother is looking into upgrading his stock audio and I referred him to this site. He told me he just wants a stupid loud street beater with some SQ. For starters it's a 2006 Saturn Ion Level 3. He already has a

Alpine CDA-9887 installed now we he just needs comps, subs, and an amp. We went to a few shops such as, car toys and Tweeter and those prices were RIDICULOUS!!! His budget is around $2,000 since he sold his old ford probe.

i have an ion redline did he have the factory aas system? 2 way front and an amp in the back?

if so how did he get the headunit to work!?!!?!
