front doors 6x9 3 way FR 40 - 23000*Hz

rear doors 6 1/2 2 way FR 63 - 24,000*Hz

these are in CH 1 & 2

my tweeters 1 inch 2 pairs FR 3,500 - 21,000*Hz

these are in CH 3 & 4

now where do i set the frequencies

display says

FRONT EQ FREQ = 1khz to 20 i believe

REAR EQ FREQ=1khz to 20

now the question is what number i put there 12.5 16.5 or 10. ??????????

do you know what and eq does? it boost or cuts frequencies so the 10, 12.5, 16 you are asking about is the selection of the frequency u want to boost or cut.

if the 6x9s arent hooked up to an amp dont worry about them yet, as far as amping the rears and not the front thats kinda stupid i would put the 6x9s on channels 3&4 bandpassed at 70-80hz up to 3khz and the tweeters on channels 1&2 playing 3.5k hz and up. be careful u will have well over 350w going to 2 tweeters i doubt they will last

why did you buy all that equipment if you didnt know how to implement it all.

and honestly a good set of id 6x9 components would negate the need for the extra dash, rear door, and 2nd set of tweeters. with as many point sources as you have your ears are gonna bleed from the distortion caused by canceling waves.

old sq competitor tip "keep it stupid simple" when there is less to go wrong less will go wrong. bass is easy. anyone can throw a couple decent speakers in a decent box on 6k and be loud well except meade but he's an exception

well i was just trying to replace the factory speakers with after market then when i saw and realise that components were better it was too late i had bought everything already lol so for now im going with what i got

and thats the problem idk what cut does and boosting

and the reason i bought all this with zero experience / knowledge i was tired of buying BS stuff and brands lol

and i have the RF t1000.4adcp 350 times 4 at 1 ohm my front and rear in CH 1&2 and the 2 pairs of tweeters CH 3&4 they all hooked up

well to be honest id try to sell everything while its still in boxes and see if that regains you enough for good front comps.

the amps are solid idk what you want to run with the i the u said at one point 2 sp4 18s you will just need a hell of an electrical system 4 big batts and at least 1 270-300amp alt

and for the boosting and cutting you really cant get full use out of this unless you have an rta but use your ears and dont boost too much as it can clip the signal and destroy the speaker.

main thing is be patient u might not get answers immediately but they have alot of guys on here that will help u. if you were here in louisiana id help you build it just for the hell of it.

[/color]hahaha i was thinking of buying the audiocontrol RTA lol will two xs power d3100 and a yellow top upfront and dc power 270xp ALT be enough for the 2 sp4 18s ?????????? and what if i use a DD1 on the DQXS to avoid clipping and distortion ????

two d3100s wont be enough and the yellow top more than likely will fail first. if you were only running 1 rockford yea you would be fine but i recommend at minimum 3 more batts about that size.

dekas are cheap and they work well i personally am using datasafe in my truck right now and with the 2 130a/h batts plus my factory 60a/h batt and a 145amp alt i can run 4k with minimum voltage drop.

yes my lights still dim but my voltage never goes under 14v except when the truck is in park longer than 15minutes and the truck turn the alt off.

the dc alt is great i had the same alt in my 99 silverado and i didnt have a problem with running 2k with just an upgraded under hood batt.

you can do this far as i know this will work but generally i like to cut my peaks instead of boost my valleys but without an rta you really cant do this

i feel you man lots of these guys just like to hangout and talk trash which is fine thats what the forum is for. but they havent been helping as much as they used to and i cant even keep up with the screen names anymore they change them too much. but there are some people on here that actually have alot of knowledge and experience with this stuff

I would simplify that setup a little bit. It easy to get confused with all the eq settings and processors. All lot of the settings will be trial and error based on you jeep and equipment. Sound is subjective so keep tweaking until you get the sound you want.
