Hi, long time lurker, first time poster. I'm about to tackle my first box, and it's for a boat. I have an Alpine SWR-M100 sub, specs are

Problem is, the compartment the box fits in is quite small. Maximum size box I can get is about 14L 16D 11H. The specs call for a sealed box, 32x22x15! The factory one that's in there now is about 12x6x10.5, made of seaboard, so anything's better than that. There is an 8" vent cut into the compartment to let the displaced air out, and whatever box I build will be stuffed.
Problem is, since it's a boat, I really want it ported for that extra SPL and small gain in db. SQ isn't as important in this application. I listen mostly to rock type music, and have about 150 W currently going to it.
I've played around on WINISD, but really don't know what it all means. Had to enter that sub, so entered what I could before giving me saving errors.
Can anyone give box advice based on this info? Thanks
