I've had a set of these in my car powered by a Kicker SX600.2 for a little while now. I've found the tweets seem to be playing alot more music than I expected, when I went to the crossovers to adjust them I noticed they were bi-ampable.

The shop that did the install had used a short wire to jumper the mids to the high input on the cross over, the crossover also has built in jumpers for this. Would the extra jumper be affecting the sound much? I can hardly hear the mid-speakers ( Actually disconnected the tweets to make sure they played) Is that a possible cause?

Disconnect the jumper and see what happens. I believe that inside the actual crossover there are jumpers that connect all the drivers and you remove it if you want to bi-amp. Also there should be an attenuation circuit in there to adjust the level of the tweeter.
