Help with 2 IDMax V3's!

shouldnt really cost any more to have one built. dont have it built into the vehicle so you can switch it from car to car
hmm perhaps but then I have to go threw the hassle of finding someone to build it whos trust worthy and shipping and what not.

first off i have an idMAX in a 2.0 cubed enclosure tuned to 32 hz.. it wangs and it sounds nice.. a month ago i decided to drop it down to 1 ohm so i can get 1000 watts going to it out of my modded 1501d. it got a little louder.. but then i noticed with that much power the music was really bassy and it dominated my mids.. so i turned the gain down some. point is: more watts to your sub does not mean its going to sound better... now about your bass remote.. it seems like youve set your amp gain with the bass remote knob low. you say that its not even up halfway and it gets very bassy and the sub really starts moving. i think u need to turn that knob all the way up THEN set the gains appropriately and use the knob to turn DOWN the bass only.. get it?
