Help with 05 subaru forester

Cousin got his hands on some serious cash and a great job. Asked him what his budget was, he said $2,000. I can do alot with that.. :3

Obviously ill do the install for him. Deaden the doors. get him some good components Maybe get a dsp. I havnt gotten a full list of everything ill need yet.

Im just looking for as much info on other peoples experiences on doing installs on a Subaru. I know some cars are tricky with their electrical and whatnot. Just gimme any advice/info that you have.

Also if you'd like. ill take suggestions on hardware to go with.
