Help Wiring

Me and my buddy are throwing in some Boston G5's in his pick up and i was trying to look at the sticky wiring diagram and at rockford but i couldnt find what i needed, hes running a brutus 1600 on them and he wants to run it at 1 ohm but the subs are single 4 ohm. i saw how to wire them at 1 ohm but with dual voice coils. i was wondering can i wire it at 1?
