Help. Wiring sub amp into deck w/ 1 preout?.....

Well, im throwing in a mini system into the explorer before i sell it, just some eye candy. I got a pioneer DEH2700 headunit from one or two years ago, but it only has one preout, and its unlabeled. Can i use this preout for my sub amp? My sub amp is a 2ch kenwood bridged to 300rms@4ohm, and i dont think it has a lowpass on it, ill have to double check.

any guidance on this would be great!

its a rear out and yes you can it will just put out some higher frequencies

okay. they are 8" subs so i guess i shouldnt be TOO worried about high freq's, i guess i'll just give it a try and see what happens....

Just spend $15 on eBay and get a subwoofer filter. It goes between the HU and the sub amp and will let you select the frequency to low pass at. It will improve it a lot, I think whomever buys your vehicle would greatly appreciate it. If I heard a sub with no low pass I would think the person had no idea what they were doing.
