Okay I have an alpine cd player with f/r/sub outputs. My sub amp broke so I am looking into combining my two separate amps and buying a single 4 channel one to power my speakers and sub. I am asking can I run my front component set off of 2 channels of the amp and then bridge the other two channels to power a sub? Since my cd player has the 3 outputs which do I run my rcas from and to on the 4 channel amp? Will I still have control of the subwoofer settings on the cd player using a single 4 channel amp insted of a separate mono subwoofer amp? Sorry I am not familiar with using a 4 channel amp in this situation. Would I be better off keeping 2 separate amps?

run your front rca's to channels 1 &2 of your amp, then run the sub out rca's to channel 3 & 4. You will still have control of your sub settings on your head unit.
