HELP!!! will not turn off.

So I connect my girlfriends PPI a1200 to my car today, to make sure it still worked. Well I didn't really make the best connections to the ground on the amp because i couldn't really fit the wire into the stupid plug thing. Anyway I played it at very low volume for about 30 seconds to make sure it all worked, but now I have hooked up my Boston GTA-800m back up, but it is acting like the ground isn't connected. Its hooked up exactly the same as before the PPI was hooked up, but when the car is off the power light stays on. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery but nothing is working. Help! I don't know what to do!

how long after the car turned off did you check to see if it was still on? some amps take long to turn off

The amp turns on as soon as the battery is connected.

I figured out what the problem was. It was my remote wire not the ground. now I feel like a real dumb ***. I got so mad when it wasn't working I kicked my door and left a dent in it -_-
