HELP. whats wrong with my headunit?

is a sony cdx s2000 , installing my amp the headunit stoped working, i got rid of all the amp cables and is still not working, twice i moved it around a bit and it started working for a few seconds, right now it only accepts the cd and ejects the cd if i press the eject button. other than that it wont turn on. any help is appreciated, i was quoted 60$ to fix this little problem

Check the switched/accesory power wire. maybe that came loose?

checked all wires, rewired again better, same problem, tried reseting the deck, same problem, the headunit acts like if the car is off even if the car is on, it wont turn on at all, cd is still working, just ejects when i press the button and accepts cds, the screen wont turn on.

Thats your problem its a sony. If none of the wires are messed up than its probably just a faulty unit.

Check your vehicle's radio fuse.

are you sure the antenna plug is plugged in? Lots of units wont work without it
