HELP! What can my 10" L7 handle?

your not going to hear too much audible difference and kicker subs arent built too tough and are rated pretty accurately on what they can actually handle, so its not worth the risk. Just adjust your gain to run em at 600 rms max.

This also will be dependent on your enclosure, but I wouldn't run more than rated to a kicker L7 as stated above; There's no point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

So right now the sub is wired at 4ohms to get 500 watts my amp puts out 900 at 2ohms, so I can just re-wire to 2ohms and adjust the gain? How do I know when its down to 600watts? (New to this)

I ran ~1000 on my l7 15 for quite a while before the coil let go. Broke the connnection between the tinsel lead and the coil. It never really got too stinky but it did fail over time.
