out of those 4, my vote goes to the mtx amp.

its really tough for those amps, depending on what subs ure pushing, id prolly say for the price go with 1200.1 jbl- but it looks if ure posting these ure gonna but one, so price prolly dont matter- id go with the alpine or the mtx

i second cam there if you dont have external processing the jl is a tough amp to beat and it kills the punch 500...so power wise it isnt weak either

8100D, no ifs or buts. Will put out much more than the JL (although undoubtedly it does have an array of very impressive features - v.v.impressive) - seen one do around the 1700RMS mark. The JL will be lucky to do half that.

that depends on weather or not he wants higher spl or better sound quality doesnt it?
