help! went active with the iridium 6.2

Hi,

i went active and all i can say is wow! i have so much control now and would like to know which crossover settings will be good for the iridium tweeters and mids or anything else that can help to get the best sound?

my hu is the clarion dxz956mc and my amp is the vrx 4.300.2 ...

I crossed my tweeters at 2500 and they sounded excellent. BUT you can go quite a but lower as the iridiums have a pretty low FS

Fs - Resonant frequency 900 Hz

Frequency range 1000 - 25.000 Hz

Just be smart, and be careful, don't go throwin 200w and think that you can crank it at that low of a frequency.

around 18db/oct. You can probably do 12, but to me, that's kind of stretching it

also the lower you cross the tweeter the more mellow the mid-range will sound since there will be a 1" driver playing those frequencies as opposed to a 6.5" driver. i moved my current tweeters down to 2.5k from 4k and got the sound i was looking for.
