First off I'm looking for more vibration and distance in my subs, not really dbs, so save you flamers the trouble so you can just go hit reply now and flame me.
I got 2x L5 15" kickers and a 1000 watt mono alpine, I'm looking to sell these then upgrade, the alpine broke and I am going to get a new one from a warrenty, how much should I sell it for in box?(Assuming they replace it not fix it) What about my subs(Pretty new maybe 4 months of minor use) seperate? Together? Someone is interested in them minus the box, how much should I ask for? Will sselling the boxes be hard? Also for the off chance that the store will give me store credit for the return of them, how much should I settle for?
For my upgrade I am looking for either more room with an increase of vibration/distance or a lot more vibration/distance for the same room, kicker is my option because the store I buy from there main brand is pretty much kicker, so I have gotten hella discount before, like 100 off one of their 250 speakers.
I was suggested in a early post to upgrade my amp and my subs to L7 15"s, I am also considering the 18" Sub by kicker that takes on 10k watts(Been over its only safe to put about 4k regularly into it) simply because I want SOME trunk room in my truck, my 15s at the moment take it all up, but if the 2 L7s will be better than the 18 I will consider it. Also the delemia of kicker only making a 2500 watt amp, nothing close to 4k. Is it safe to have multiple amps driving one sub? If two amps is safe I'll come back with some quotes to compare vs. other brand amps, is there any brand(Good brands) that make a 4k watt amp?
