So I picked up an old school Eclipse deck to make a test bench. Started thinking about the 3 Audisons I bought used a few months ago that are sitting in my boat still untested and thought "well ya know.." so I went and bought a used Eclipse 5441 locally. I picked it up and brought it home and now I realize I need an unlocking code. I just emailed the guy I purchased the deck from to see if he somehow remembers the number or can find the manual. In the event that he can't...do I chuck this thing in the garbage or is there a way around this? I don't want to "caveat emptor" anyone and resell it so if it's junk I'll likely just tear it apart and then chuck it after I've realized I can't put it back together. Anyone have any suggestions? Oddly the same 800 number on the sticker still works but Eclipse is closed for the night.
