Help Tuning my SUB please

Okay so just built the box for my type R 12'', built it to spec from manual at 1.5 cubic feet. This is what it says (F3, ripple, Fb---- 27Hz, 3.9dB, 33Hz) So does this mean I download a 33Hz track and play it while I tune the gain and what not to correct voltage?

If this is correct what would be the difference between tuning from say a 33 Hz to a 40Hz? I might get crap for this but I'm looking for something that just rattles everything in my car, I want my **** mirrors to fall off, windows to break, and teeth chattering (sarcasm) but seriously though I'm looking for something like that.

Also what the hell are all the other knobs for, it has X-over, sub-sonic, and Bass boost....?

PS: where would I download a test tone from so I can burn it on CD or ipod, anyone know of an app for making tones?
