Help!! Trying to install 2 10's and 2 6by9's

Ive got a 95 Pontiac firebird i just got 2 10's and 2 6 by9's i want to hook up to a 1000 watt amp with an 8 gage install kit. Ive played around with car sterios before and im pretty sure i can do this.

To set up the amp i need to

- run the power cable to the amp from the battery

- make a ground wire to the frame

- run the blue remote wire to the back of my sterio and hook it up to the blue wire.

- then i know there are a positve and a negitive cable where exactly i hook them up to the back of the sterio i dont know ( any one know what there called?)

then my amp should work do i have that wrong in any way let me know please

Then hook up the subs

now for the 6by9's i dont know how to hook them up. can i just hook them up to the amp? what wireing do i need will it come in my amp kit?

The cables your are confused on the name are rca's from the description you gave and there should be female connections on the back of your head unit either marked subwoofer or rear.

You may want a local shop to hook that up for you....
