Hello guys, name is Blake. I am from Tulsa, OK and I just joined the forum. I joined because I wanted to find the experts on here who could help with me with designing a box. I recently purchased 2 Sundown Audio SA-8 V.2's. I am building a box for a 1997 Honda Civic which has been "dynamatted" and had a few layers of foam placed down for even better noise isolation. The box will be located in the cab, where the back seat used to be and the trunk is sealed off with 2 .75" sheets of MDF. I am probably wanting to go with the ported route but would be open to Bandpass. My main goal with these two subs is to get as much sound out of them acoustically as possible. They are going to be powered by a Kicker KX1200.1 amp that is ran to my battery with 1/0 gauge Kicker wire. I can take as much time/ work as is needed to physically build the box so complexity is not an issue. I just need the help of you experts to help me create the perfect/ box. It doesn't matter if they are in 1 or two boxes, I will do whatever gives me more SPL. I want to be able to win some bets on what I've got in the back seat, if you know what I mean.
