well im tryin to install a new head unit in my sisters ford contour. its an old year like 98 or something im tryin to rip out the old head unit. there are 4 holes around the head unit. 1 in each corner. should i just stick something in all of those and pull it out or what

how about you go to the **** walmart and buy some ford keys.

they cost like $2 and you pop em in the holes and push them outward towards each door. (left one push it toward driver door, right one push toward right door) and then pull.

then the stereo will pop right out. then you take the aftermarket headunit cage and push it into the hold and bend the tabs so it stays.

pop the harness on and you are all set.
