I'd like to put in new speakers in my 02 blazer(4 door). I have a jvc hu with 12 disc changer to go in. I also have a verge vga460 4 channel amp and an old fosgate punch 40 I've been using for the mtx sub I have.I noticed the front door speakers are VERY low.Would I be better off with components? 5.25 or 6.5? I know it would be easier for me with just co-axials. Where would I put the tweeters? I would like to keep the speakers under 300 for front and rear doors. I've been looking at polks mm5251 around 200 db5251 around 100 alpine spx-13ref around 180 boston acoustics sr60 around 200 Would my verge be ok for these? 46x4 at 4 around 60x4 at 2 the polk mm's are 2.7 ohms I don't think I'll be bi-amping them as I would like to use the other 2 channels for the rear doors 6.5 Would I just put co-axials in the rear doors or another set of components? I listen to mostly rock and metal music. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
