HELP! Subs working fine last night today they wont hit

Ok i just traded my Memphis subs to 2 American bass subs with a hifonics 2600 watt amp. Was working smooth and fine yesterday. I come home today and start the car up and the subs get nothing. The amp is powering on, all the wires are hooked up, the power cable in line fuse is fine i even tried a new rca cable and checked the speaker wires in the box... NOTHING

what could possibly be the problem? so frustrating i just want to rip my hair out... I even went out today and bought a 0 gauge power cable to run instead of my 4 gauge and come home to this :/

If the amp isn't in protect, idk what else there would be to check. Try checking your subs with a DMM and a 9 volt battery to see if they're ok.

is the remote wire making a good connection?

If someine usually has this issue, the first thing I do is disconnect all the power/ground/remote wires and then reattach them

Sounds like either your subs or the amp took a poop.

When you say you traded, did you trade with a friend or some guy on craigslist or what?

Everything connected. Ima take everything out and re-do it

They was traded off Craigslist but this dude seemed pretty cool and everything worked right there when we traded.

im having the same problem. i thought my amp was bad but to find out it is actually mr rca cable or the rca's on the back of the deck. take a dmm to the rca's on the back of your deck

yeah i even pulled the stereo out and swapped out a new set of RCA cables and still no luck

digital multi meter

check what volage out on your amp(speaker terminals)... you want to set it to AC votlage... and do an ohm check on your subs

ill have to look around see if i have one. I did the 9v check and the speakers are fine theyre getting somthing. now im about to swap the amp out to see if its the amp.

What if its the head unit? Anything i can do to fix it? It was working fine yesterday and worked fine with my other subs / amps

Hooked my amp to another speaker and nothing. So is my amp f*ed? what can i do?

new amp !!! sounds like the output mosfets are blown ,to low of an impedance prolly,thats what usaually does it
