HELP: Subs WAY too loud

Ya, in that way they would be. Pioneers are actually what I started on and they do sound good for how much they are.

I just wasn't sure if it was something that had to be set perfectly or something like that. Like I said, I was just being careful.

Yeah I got them for free so I can't really complain. Oh and with the subs being too loud, I turned the gain down on my amp a few notches and it is perfect. I don't think I need an amp just yet. Sounds so great to me.

it set the car alarm off directly next to us and literally made it hard to breath.Keep in mind I was not expecting ANYTHING like this when I chose to put 2 Type R 12's in my car.

Was directly to the right of my car. He had my passanger door open. Not sure if you think I'm bullshitting or something haha. Hahaha, alright it wasn't that bad. You could definitely tell a ton of air was moving though. Could feel the bass in my chest lol. I guess I shouldn't have said that. Makes me sound weak eh? I couldn't handle listening to someones setup that had 4 15s or something crazy, honestly though.

Ported box. I'm guessing custom. Not sure what it's tuned to or anything. I really don't know much at all about all of this. The speakers were in the box when I bought them.

Hahah. I think it might've been a Toyota Camary. I'm not 100%, didn't really look at it. Not sure how their alarms are either lol. Was a newer car though.
