Help...something has gone wrong...

I just had a power amp and subwoofer installed in my car through the existing factory head unit. Now, whenever I turn the balance all the way to the left, I get the left speakers and the sub...sounding good. If I turn it all the way to the right, I get only the door speakers, no sub, and it sounds all harsh and tinny...

Is this normal? What happened?

need info on how your speakers and sub are wired into your amps, is sub running from one side of a 2 channel stereo amp
