Help setting up printer network

I have 2 computers in my house that are both connected to the net via cable modem. Both computers are running off my netgear router. Comp A is running on an ethernet cable and Comp B is runnning wirelessly.

I want to be able to print stuff on Comp B and have the file printed out on the printer for Comp A.

Win XP Home is my OS.

I have not dealt with xp-home,but I have with xp-pro and I had set up a printer between 2 computers using network share, it was kinda of tricky for me but i finally got it to work, so try it by using network share: ok here is how you do it,set up the printer on comp.A if you haven`t already and share it with comp.B you will have to know the name of Comp.B so that you can share it,if I`m not mistaken you will have to go to comp.B andset up the printer on it using the Comp.A name its been a couple years sinc e i did it so you might have to look it up on google.

Right click on my computer and go to properties.

Go to the “computer name” tab

Click on change

Name this computer

And give a workgroup name for both computers. Ourhouse, workgroup, computers, ect

Click ok and restart if necessary.

Now for the computer with the printer

Go to start, settings and printers

Right click on the printer and go to sharing

Then share this computer

You might get a warning and all that other crap but just click ok and enable sharing.

On the other computer go to Windows Explorer

Look for network places, entire network , Microsoft windows network and what ever the name of your workgroup is.

Look for the printer computer and open it. You should see the printer. Right click on the printer icon and click on install.

after that the printer is installed on the computer
