Help Selecting Fuse

I just bought a new Soundstream XXX-6500d from someone on ROE and I was wondering what size fuse I would need next to the battery for this amp. I have contacted Soundstream but I doubt they will be able to help on a satisfactory level. I have contacted them before and even though they give quick responses, they dont explain things and tell you as little as possible.

Based on the manual it says the amp draws 465A. I know there are no fuses this size. I'm looking for an ANL fuse. Would it be okay to use a 300A or should I go with 400A or 500A? I have searched and haven't found a 450A fuse. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I'll be using a Kinetik HC 1400 under the hood and possibly another one in the trunk and I have a 90A stock alt at the moment.

I'm using 1/0. I got an email back from soundstream and they said to try and use a minimum of 300A. Currently I only have a 200A and I'll probably use that and keep the volume low till I get a bigger fuse.

Any ideas where I can get a 400A ANL (waffle style) fuse?

I think u should run 2 runs of 1/0 fuse each wire with a 200amp fuse then to a distroblock (2 1/0AWg in, to 1 1/0AWg out) then make sure the 1 cable to the amp is like 1/2 foot. I personnaly think 300amp fuse would be fine, I doubt u'll ever get to 350+ amp draw with ur current electrical.

The 2 runs of 1/0 right now would probably be out the question. I have absolutely no room at all getting it through the firewall. Another problem is I dont have more room from the bottom panels on the side of the car, part of it in the rear is actually sticking up a little bit but its not that noticeable. Thanks for the links though. I'll see if a shop locally has a 300A fuse. I found a few 400A fuses on ebay but the **** things cost nearly 15 bucks.
