Help Selecting 6.5" Components

Hi all-

I used to sell high end car audio, but that was 15 years ago. I have some older gear I want to put in my current car, but gear has changed so much I don't know what is what anymore. Biggest issue right now is finding good mid to high-end components to match up with my amp, which is a JL 300/2 (150 RMS x 2). I was running MB Quart Q's back then and they ate that power for lunch, but it seems as though Quart Q's now are happy with 80 watts? (Have they gone down the toilet?)

So, thoughts? Was looking at Boston Pros maybe, but where to find them at good pricing has been an issue.

You can use a 150W x 2 amp on any good speaker set. The setup is not any different than it was 15 years ago. Use the high pass filter to cut the bass, turn the gain down if it sounds harsh and distorted.
