help running power wire

I am looking to run a power wire through my 2002 acura tl, but im not seeing and good place to run the wire through the firewall i was thinking about drilling through the firewall but didnt want to funk it up. if anyone can help me out or give me some tips on running the wire holla, also i want to keep my stock acura headunit. I bought the converter and everything except i was going to run the remote wire into the fuse box, and onto a on/off switch. i heard by running the on/off switch that the subs can blow so if anyone has any tips on that also feel free to reply.

there is no reason to run an "on off" switch, but it will not affect the subs however you will the amp "spike" meaning you will hear a very annoying loud thud everytime the amp turns on. as far as drilling a hole under the dash there should be a mat with a diamond cut out tear that off and drill there if not...pick a gromit and drill next to it were you can see it come through

Or just run the power line under your car and drill into the trunk/hatch and put the grommet there. Easier to do and see. I've done that on any car where I can't get to a good place in the firewall.

Did you car come with the bose system? If it did, there is an amp turn on wire coming out of the back of your HU. All you have to do is find it and add the wire from your new amp to it.
