Help request for the best sub/amp set up for my small car (Suzuki X -90)

I am trying to figure out what the best set up for my Suzuki X-90 would be. I only have about $1000 to spend. The car already has four 8" three way speakers (one in each door, and two in the rear deck lid), powered by a 4 channel amp. I just want to add some fairly loud, and deep bass to it. So far, I have not purchased an amp, or subs, or built an enclosure. I will be building a ported enclosure, and have up to 8 cu ft to work with. I am considering using one audiopipe TXX-BD2W 18, powered by an Audiopipe Apcl- 15001D amp. Does this set up seem like it would work well (along with the four 8's that I already have), or is there too much gap in speaker size (18 and 8's)? I also have room for two 15's' (vs the one 18). Since I have not purchased anything yet, I am open to all suggestions on subwoofer and amplifier brands and sizes. The front surface mounting area that I have to work with (for the enclosure) is 30"x50", so I have room for many options (anything from multiple 12's to three 18's). Cost however $1000.00, is my main limitation. Any, and all help would greatly be appreciated.

Are you sure the mids and highs are capable of keeping up? If so, one Zv3 18 and a SoundQubed 2200. Or a DD3518. Or possibly two HDS315s? Need tons of port area too. You could also do 4 Sundown E12s and save a little bit for better mids and highs in the future. You have options bro. Try @mylows10. He has got some great deals.

I actually am not sure if the mids and highs are enough, however, I do have enough room in the rear deck lid to upgrade from the 8 inch three ways if needed. The rear deck lid is only about 15 inches away from my head, being it is a tiny two seater. I can't get anything bigger in the doors, but I could always ad some tweeters in the dash, or doors somewhere. I have been debating between using two 15's vs one 18, however the cost of one 18, is definitely cheaper than two 15's. I also do not want to have to upgrade my stock electrical system. I am not trying to win any contests or anything. I just want some really deep bass, at fairly high volume levels. I am only trying to impress myself. I am 50, and am not much into trying to impress people, or show off any more. So, on that note (no pun intended), I just want something that sounds very good, and will kick @#$, whenever the urge hits me.

I am not planning on upgrading the electrical system. I currently have 2 gauge wires for an amp. If necessary, I will upgrade, or maybe add a capacitor (if they actually make a noticeable difference. I am not trying to win any contests or impress anyone for that matter (just myself....I'm 50). I just want to be able to crank it up, when the urge hits me, and have it sound great, with lots of low end. Years ago, (1985) I had a Hyfonics Zues, and two twelves in my Mustang, and that sounded pretty good, but since then, there stuff has gone to crap, so I basically have to re-learn all the stuff I knew 30 years ago, as nowadays crap is not really what is advertised to be.

I'm thinking you'd be really happy with a single sub setup running around 1200rms it will be cheap to put together not extremely hard on your electrical.. And you should be able to get away with out a high output alternator.. Any size sundown x, fi audio ssd or q... Ascendant audio chaos or havoc... Or maybe even soundqubed hdc3

Honestly, Hifonics aren't as bad as everyone here makes them out to be. They're constantly getting better too. Their BRZ line does rated. I have one of their "junk" lines and while I won't win any SQ contests, I'm completely satisfied.

The subs that I have been considering are:

Audipipe TXX-BD2W

CT Sounds Strato V2

SoundQuebed HDC3

DC Audio M2LV3

American Bass HD18 or XFL1822

Sunown SA

From this list, what are your favorites, or are there any bad choices, or are they all pretty good? My choices are also based on prices $350.00 or lower. I actually at one time WAS considering a Pyle PL1890, because they where really inexpensive, but they had many mixed reviews.....thoughts on these choices?

Wow, from your opinions, I am thinking two 10's or 12's will do just fine, and one 18 or one or two 15's, would be way too much. I just don't want to spend money, and time, and end up wanting more. Hey, you guys on here know alot more than I do. That is why I am listening intently to all of your replies
