i have had an idmax, w6 and w7. Regardless he only asked 2 subs, obviously its down to these two quit throwing more subs out there.

personally i say go with the w7 they get low and loud and sound good while doing it.

i can go more in depth if necessary

Just to help I have Morel Elates up front run active, mids getting 200 watts rms, and tweets getting 80 watts rms. Sub will get 700 watts rms.

I am replacing a ported type x 2.0 cu ft 33 hz.

Deciding between 12w6v2 or 12w7.

I do not want to lose any SPL compared to the Type X. I would like to gain a bit of SPL and also gain SQ.

I will run ported boxes built to JL Spec. Will the w7 get louder? Will the w6 be as loud as the type X? Can the W6v2 take 700 watts rms if gains are low?
