Help reading fets

I have 2 amps with bad fets. The first amp the fet says 1rfz44n then below it says 4n on one side and 1m on the other. Are all RZF44N fets the same?

Lets start with this. What kind of amp is it and what's the problem you are having with the amp? It sounds like the part you are looking for is IRFZ44N which is a power supply fet. More often than not the power supply fets go south after a failure in the output section. The output section usually does not fail explosively or visibly to the ***** eye. The output transistors or fets can be totally shorted with no visible sign of a failure. You may have a much bigger repair on your hands than you think

Thats on a cheap Power acoustic amp. The other one is a FMG22R out of a Audiopipe AP18001D. The fet its self looks ok, but when I removed the board there were some burn marks on the bottom of the board where the fet is soldered in.

Power Acoustik makes lots of amps man. A model number would be very helpful. As or the audiopipe that part (the FMG22R) is a rectifier . Is there actually burn marks or is the appearance more like a brownish liquid? Pics would be great if you have them

Burn marks on the bottom of the board directly under the rectifier. There were burn marks on the case when I removed the board also. The power wire physically, and audibly pulses.

The power acoustic is a PS2-820

Power wire pulses? Have never seen anything like that man. If you hook up other amps in the same install does the power wire still pulse?

I'm having the same issue... definitely transistors on the output side. It's really not that hard of a fix tbh

Nope I got the amp knowing it needed fixed.

Do all the numbers mean something important or can I just match up FMG22R? I found some online but the number at the bottom aren't the same.
