help!rattle noise frm 12"sub

can anoyone help me or does anyone know why my 12? sub makes a rattle noise

i jus recently bought it used but it worked when da guy i bought it from played it when i ot ome it made a rattle noise whe i hooked it up to my home reciever why?

tinsel slap, coils rubbing, coils unwinding. no idea

when i press down a bit on the rubber it stops makin tha noise

if that is the case i bet the motor is misaligned or somthing... take it out of the box and see if u can tell if the magnet looks like it is off center or anything.... also look to see if the tinsel leads are hitting the underside of the cone.... another ? what kind of subs is it. do you only notice this noise at high volume or all volume levels?

its a toby i tried it out of the box cus i dont have a box for it yet..i notice the sound alt low low volumes and high volumes

its prob the motor it does look like off center ill take it to a local caraudio store
