ok it looks like i'm getting some water leakage in my drivers side door which is causing that speaker to pop and then cut all the speakers off...it has happened the last 2 times that my car has been out in the rain...

what can i do to stop it from happening...would wrapping the connectors in electrical tape be enough??

i've had to drive around the last 2 days with no music and i don't want to keep going through this everytime it rains...plus it can't be good for my speaker either...

any suggestions??

thanks

find out where the door is leaking and use silicone sealant on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif if that dont work try puttin plastic around the connectors then tape the plastic down

get a peice of an old plastic bag the thick sort and stick it to the inside of the door above and halfway around the speaker and that should do the job it worcks for me very well so if done propperly it will work

Try replacing the seal around the window.. In the mean time get some of the foam baffles from crutchfield they are water resistant which is why they are popular. They may not keep the speakers completely dry but it will help protect them till you get the leak fixed.
