I'm trying to put a system together consisting of...

(4) 15" subs at 1 ohm stable

(4)6x9's

(4)61/2'S

(4)Tweeters

I just would like some SERIUOS ADVICE on what kind of AMP'S, SUBS, and SPEAKER COMPONENTS I should get on a $2,500 budget as far as quality and BANG! can someone please help. P.S. What kind of box should I have Built to have the 15's in the trunk of a 87' Chevy caprice classic.

No H/U ? you are basically screwed without one.

If you are looking to set off car alarms and be heard 20 blocks away you have come to the wrong place.

"We" dont encorurage those type of things. No sane person needs that many speakers or subs for daily driving.

For subs, you will need 4 DVC 2ohm. Pick the subs first, then choose the best amp that will suit them

Most good 15" subs run in the $300+ area.

Were you lookinf for more of a SPL sub or a SQL sub ?

I wouldnt do the 6x9's, if you really want them, just do 2 and seal them off from the subs. The pressure of 4 15's against the 6x9's will cause them to over excurt.

No need for 4 6.5's either. A good 2 way 6 1/2"setup will sound great.

Dont bother with the tweeters. The component set will handle the highs just fine.

Hifonics makes some really powerful amps, but they arent cheap.

You will also need a major upgrade on your electrical system. High Output alternator and maby even 2 deep cycle batteries. As well as re doing the vehicles stock wiring to help it handle all that current draw

Yeah you cant just through something like that in a car. You'll be driving down the road one day and hit i nice low note that draws alot of current and BAM you car cuts off.

For a mono amp i'd look into Orion, one of the greatest amps out there and half the time they are under rated and put out more then they're rated for.
