I just got my comps and amp installed and wanted to do some sound deading to better the sound. what is the best type of sound deading out ther? I was at walmart and saw that they have deading sheets(2) for 19 bucks is that any good? i know they dont carry very good stuff, but it's readly available to me.

that is regular dynomat, they should be paying you to take that crap off their hands....if you want readly available, go to lowes and pick up some peal and seal....otherwise, I would look into getting second skin, brown bread or some other top quality matting.

dynamat extreme is pretty good but costly. edead works pretty good, http://www.edesignaudio.com. also secondskin sludge is pretty good to use in addition to the mat. http://www.secondskinaudio.com

Yes, Dynamat and Dynamat Extreme both work very well, but are the least cost effective.

As mentioned, look into alternatives like Raammat, Brown Bread, B-quiet, Second Skin, etc etc.
