do you have pics of the subs and enclosure? From that picture, I gather that there is a terminal on the enclosure for each sub, then both positives and both negatives are ran to one terminal on the amp, is that correct?

arent those subs rated at 600 RMS?? first of all i would make sure you have them in phase. if u dot want to take the subs out and make sure the wiring is correct, disconnect the wiring at the box take a 9 volt battery match up positive terminal with positive on the 9 volt then touch the 9 volt across the terminals speaker will either push out or **** in, do it with both sides make sure they go in same direction. Do you have an ampermeter? or a multimeter? whats the load you have it at 1 ohm?? so if you really have a 4k watt amp what you want to do is take your subs rms add them so 600+600= 1200. now you want to set your amp to match, burn a cd with a 60hz continuous tone, so we want 1200 watts rms.

so Voltage is = to the square root of power times resistance, which is 34.64V. so this is what your looking for, if you have an aftermarket cd player, safely you can probably turn it up to within 4 of the highest volume level so if your max level is 30, 26 is probly where i would go, turn all yer gains down, bass boost down, lowpass filter all the way up. with the cd player playing the tone turn gain up till it hits 34.5-36 volts you should be fine, now you can hook up your speakers again, turn your lowpass filter back down to what you had it set to. play the tone again measure the voltage again on the output of the amp if its holding at 34.5-36 volts your really doin 1200ish watts, and if your in phase and still sounds like ****, its your box, build one to spec. otherwise your as good as its gonna get. If your not holding around that voltage your electrical system cant handle it, add a battery. Hope this helps

Hey man!

Is you box partitioned? Is it sealed? I once had two subs in a sealed unpartioned box. Bad idea. They would push against each other in the same space of air. I then wired them up out of phase and the pumped way better.

Though this is really not a good solution.

If your box is partitioned or ported this wont be problem.

I can tell you right now the problem is not your amp. Unless it is faulty. With that amp and those subs you should most certainly be rumbling your mirrors. This sounds like a classic phasing issue. You need to find out FOR CERTAIN that the positive terminal on your amp connects to the positive terminal on your sub. This means first confirming for sure which terminal on your sub is positive. Once this is done, confirm that the subs positive connects to the positive on the box. Finally ensure that the positive on the box connects to the positive on the amp. There are a lot points where this could get mixed up so be diligent.

Good luck.

lmao wait what? please explain what you mean by what you just said, please.

there's a ton of 1000w RMS amps out there for around $200 you can get, ill let others post your options though since i only have experience with a few

It's ported I fixed the amp it was poundn it broke my cheap box apart then burnt that cheap *** amp out ! What's a amp u guys recommend? Tnx for the help
Oh man...this hahaha So you fixed the amp, which broke the box, then in turn burned itself out? I think I'm reading that correctly. That's a predator of an amp.

get an American bass 1k or a hifonics 1k. both 150-200 and find a box builder to make you a real box. I'd recommend one off of the forums with a good rep. I currently am having a box made by cscstang, and power acoustik amps are ****. they put more money into the boxing and display than into it's board.
